The aim of a Workplace Behaviour Policy is to detail the standards, values and expectations for appropriate behaviour in the workplace, and in particular an employee’s obligation to contribute to a safe and pleasant work environment that is free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.

The Workplace Behaviour Policy covers the following:

  • Equal Employment Opportunity – Employees are treated fairly and equitably. Employees are recruited and selected to positions based on skills, qualifications and experience rather than on attributes such as their sex, race and marital status etc.
  • Discrimination
  • Vilification
  • Sexual Harassment
  • Harassment
  • Bullying
  • Victimisation

A Workplace Behaviour Policy applies to all employees, sub-contractors, volunteers and board members and encompasses all work-related functions, events and activities including any external training or networking events.
